During the spring of 2021, I reached out to local upstate SC muralist Lacey Hennessey. From that first email, we had an instant connection through our similar personalities and work styles, and a beautiful relationship of mentor and assistant was born.

I have assisted her in painting in Clemson, Greer, Greenville, Ridge Spring, Fountain Inn, Oconee, and more places in South Carolina. We have painted in homes, hospitals, boutiques, outside buildings, yoga studios, breweries, and more! The options for a mural are endless, and creativity is essential here; the designs are interactive, colorful, and inspiring to look at, which is the goal of our paintbrushes.

I am still assisting Lacey on her ever-expanding art and mural business when I can, balancing college classes, my internship, and life. I have learned more than imaginable from Lacey about business, art, and life in general, and I am forever thankful for her allowing me to assist and learn from her!
