Art by Wills Ninnemann (Instagram @artby_willsninnemann) is a successful small business that utilizes my art skills and creativity to develop custom artwork of all sizes, mediums, and quantities on a commission basis.
My most frequent form of substrate is a canvas using acrylic paints. I enjoy this substrate and medium combination mainly because it allows unlimited creation to accent any space for a commission or customer. I also frequently paint on other substrates like bottles, banners, school spirit rocks, and I have recently been able to paint two murals of my very own!
Art by Wills Ninnemann’s most recent mural project is located in Unity Park in downtown Greenville, SC, inside the office of Isomer. Isomer is a project engineering group that contacted me when they were longing to lighten up their office space. The space contains large grey cinder block walls which were screaming for color, which is where I come in!
The mural was hand-drawn to encapsulate downtown Greenville symbols, engineering nodes, University notions, and the company’s logo. I executed the mural in three days and could not be more proud of how this turned out!
Art by Wills Ninnemann is also the creator and host of “Summer Shenanigans Art Camp,” which has provided multiple weeklong summer art camps for 10-15 elementary school-age girls for the past six years. Each session includes daily take-home crafts and art projects and a time of swimming and play. All while providing a safe environment for the girls to create.
The camp has been a largely sought-after program for the local children for years and grows in size and request each summer. I have an immense love for children, which, combined with my love of art and creation, is the perfect avenue to host a summer art camp with children. I constantly think I have more fun during camp than the girls do!
